We hope to see you at this year’s MetalCon in Atlanta from October 30 to November 1. Please stop by our booth or watch for our presentations and show-floor demos. Also, on October 28 and 29, join our special session at the DoubleTree Atlanta Airport location, covering in-home sales of quality metal roofing and installation training for managers and salespeople. We’ve spoken before about the Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) in one of our articles, and I still believe it’s a fantastic organization worth checking out. I wanted to inform you that they’ve recently introduced a new website with an updated look. I encourage you to check it out for yourself.

Since its founding in the late 1990s, the MRA has witnessed metal’s share of the residential roofing market grow significantly. Starting at around 2% and now up to 15%, metal is the fastest-growing segment of residential roofing and now firmly holds the number two spot behind asphalt shingles.

Any professional metal roofing contractor can join the Alliance. All it requires is a sponsorship from a manufacturing member company to enter. Isaiah Industries would be happy to discuss sponsoring your membership; we’ve already done so for several companies like yours. You can read the details here. Depending on your desired benefits, the annual cost of joining the MRA is as low as $1000 for the Silver level or $2500 for Gold.

Some of the benefits of joining the MRA are:

  1. Access to industry reports and promotional materials to help you grow your business. (This includes a visualizer and marketing tools.)
  2. Aligning with an established national organization gives your company enhanced credibility and visibility.
  3. Appearing in online search lists when MRA visitors look for contractors in your service area. (Depending on your membership level, you can have up to five locations appear here!)
  4. Access to homeowner leads and prospects from your market.

Membership in the MRA is a cost-effective way to further your company and be a vibrant part of the growing residential metal roofing industry. You can even have your dues reimbursed through co-op promotion of the MRA. Access to more leads, marketing tools, and increased credibility in exchange for promotion is an unbeatable deal if you ask me.

Please contact me anytime to discuss whether your company would be a good candidate to join the Metal Roofing Alliance, and I hope to see you later this month at MetalCon.
